Charity at the Stolberger Schloss-Lauf

At theStolberger Schloss-Lauf, every kilometre counts double: you’re running for yourself – and for the region at the same time. By taking part, you automatically support regional projects in and around Stolberg in the Harz Mountains.

Depending on the race, between 5 and 10 euros of your entry fee goes directly to the charity fund. You don’t need to book anything extra or make an additional donation – your contribution to a good cause is included right from the start.

Running for a good cause

When you sign up for the Stolberger Schloss-Lauf, you’re automatically doing a good deed: between €5 and €10 (depending on the event) is already included in the entry fee and goes towards supporting a local project.

In 2025, this raised a total of €4,030 – divided as follows:

  • €2,015 for the Lesepunkt library in Rottleberode
  • €2,015 for the ‘Thomas Müntzer’ theatre project in Stolberg (Harz)

In 2024, a total of €2,880 was raised – broken down as follows:

  • €1,440 for the playground at the Festwiese in Rottleberode
  • €1,440 for seating along the Bandwege in Stolberg

In 2023, a total of €3,052.50 was raised – broken down as follows:

  • €1,526.25 for the Thyra Kids nursery in Rottleberode
  • €1,440 for the Harzzwerge nursery in Stolberg
