21 km relay race

It's better together: the 21 km relay race makes the Stolberg Castle Run the perfect team event. You share the route, pass on the baton and celebrate together at the finish line at the castle. Ideal for companies, groups of friends and clubs that want to combine team spirit and charity.

First runner: Same as first lap, 10 km with baton handover at the market square

Second and third runners: Market square, Niedergasse, ... Villa Noah, market square

Fourth runner: Market square, Niedergasse, ... Villa Noah, Waschberg – finish line at Stolberg Castle

Frequently asked questions about the run

What are the road conditions like?

Part of the route leads along unpaved/natural forest paths. Please ensure you are sure-footed and wear suitable footwear.

Will there be medals, certificates and an award ceremony?

Yes – there are no losers at the Stolberg Castle Run: every participant receives a finisher's medal and can print out a certificate online afterwards. The award ceremony with trophies for the top places will take place shortly after the races at Stolberg Castle. Your finish will also be filmed and can be viewed online afterwards using your start number.

The Bambini Run is not competitive, but of course no one goes away empty-handed: every child receives a finisher's medal and a certificate as a souvenir of their run on the castle terrace.

How does the charity aspect work?

By participating, you automatically support a regional project: 5 to 10 euros are already included in the entry fee.

Where and when can I collect my race documents?

You can collect your race number at the following times:

  • Friday, 28 August, 4:00–8:00 p.m.: Sparkasse Mansfeld-Südharz, Markt 7, Stolberg
  • Saturday, 29 August, 9:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m.: Stolberg Castle
